The TJHSST team placed first in the Adam Smith Division (for AP, International Baccalaureate, and honors students) in the Virginia competition,
sponsored by the Virginia Council on Economic Education. The team then competed in the national semifinals, becoming one of the four highest scoring
teams and advancing to the finals in New York City, to be held May 20-22.
The National Economics Challenge finals will include written exams and a critical thinking round, culminating in a quiz bowl-style round.

January 1, 2017 and students can log in to compete:
March 1-17 by 12 noon for Personal Finance
